Well, you can push silverlight to everybody, but at the moment it's not finished, almost everybody in the world has flash installed (thanks to MS) so I am not surprised lots of MS sites still uses this technology. Check back in a year or so :)

It is interesting that they didn't dogfood this for something that is promoting a product such as Windows Server 2008. Actually when I was going through the site, I was thinking "What a GREAT implementation of Silverlight!". I was very let down when I right-clicked the screen to discover that it was a Flash-based application.

Seeing things like this makes it VERY difficult for me to sell Silverlight technologies in my environment.
